Hello, everyone! Forgot about me? Well, no blaming you - I was certainly unable to keep up with my previous tempo. But I promised there will be an update, and here it is - version 0.3.3 of Dark Lord Rises. So what's in?
Well.. I'm ashamed to admit, but not much, unfortunately. I know that after long wait I owe you guys something longer, but I was unable to find enough time to deliver something more... and it seems next month will be even tougher. So I decided to finish what i had and give you now, before TDLR disappears from your memory completely :)
I also changed the thing I hard most complains about, that is scrolling text during H-scenes. This goes along with another (sigh...) revolution in, erm... graphics? I'm just too bent on this game having some fake titties to look at... anyway, my ugly drawings were replaced with caps from 3D game, Honey Select. I have no doubt those will be much more aesthetically pleasing than my pathetic attempts to draw something humanlike.

Game should be save-compatible, if you have saved state from previous versions.

ReplyDeleteSecondly, I wanted to know if the game ends when you are stuck in your room after going into the labyrinth. Right now, I am stuck there. I talked to the old man, then when I try to use the desk to study, it tells me that I still have to speak to the old man, but I cannot talk to him anymore. So... is that the end?
Good to know that you are still working on this! Loved the project and it's characters, i still think you could try to gain some money to help your efforts here, 'cause i know lots of people will help.
ReplyDeleteFor the content, i'm satisfied with what you have know, don't know what you could make about the "dark lord" and the mind control things know, but yes, it is good and interesting in it's own.
Good luck with the project and don't worry about it dying 'cuz many people like the game!!!
