I'd like to present you 0.3.1c version of the game. It should contain fixes for most glaring bugs, missing assets and several typos introduced by 0.3.1.

Why so short? Well, I've just lost my entire post because of power outage. Two pages of my explanation about process that led to infamous gender change and current status of the project are gone, and I've no energy left to rewrite everything. For now then, I'll leave my essay about genders of RPG protagonists for later and in three points present what's going on with the game.
1. For the last two weeks, I've been only testing and fixing bugs.
2. My holiday is long over, and I've got much, much less time to tinker with the game
3. Because of that, presumed release date of 0.3.2 is, as for now, around early November.
As certain presidential candidate would finish: SAD! But I hope you'll enjoy your time with TDLR nevertheless.
The entire time from the sorting I was chanting to myself "not G------r, not G------r!"

ReplyDeletei think the guards during the hide event and the after talk attack on the king! were pretty normal.. there not main characters so simple walk frames worked well. but in a cave i don't think there was any guards in a cave?.... a good chance to use the sword form the pond in the school *hint hint Leviathan event at the school to kill it with that sword a gain a special sword with a cool affect like poison or mp or light hp drain extra tp or rp gain another would be a low curse affect. you could also add a chance to gain two drowned swords, and then have two events or side-quest to have a chance to restore there power and make then yin a and yang like.*
ReplyDeleteI really liked the king skeletons lance, you should add a curse with it when you equip it to lady one eye as it leaves a late revive and bring her back from to life curse! or make it could be cool with her no death cures that but could slowly take her over and make her a undead empress zombie heroine! she will look the same but each time she takes a killing blow she loses more of her life and turn more undead and it has to be a killing blow in the story line not the battle system it would be fucking corpse by mid story and I rather not fuck a skeleton

If you use the curse idea that means leaving the lance/arm in the ice fortress with her corpse.....you could also say the arm is slowly becoming part of her as new loyal demon general making her a COOL ONE-EYE DEMON LADY sexy as hell

I don't know if this has been reported or not but at Fort Rayal 2F when entering Depths of Suffering the player spawned at the wall areas, not the road. Thus, the player stuck there and the event where we find Lavinia comrades cannot be played.

DeleteI'd say keep playing, the game keeps hinting that the dark one needs to be male, so I would think he will change back. And so far in the gender change he / she is not going hog wild having sex as a girl (at the moment at least) and the story is well worth following in my opinion. I'm not too into the gender changes / futa either, but the way the tale is unfolding has perked my interest enough to continue playing.

ReplyDeleteHere is how to make your game as it should be:
1. Ditch the idea of using that obnoxious auto-scrolling text, some people like me can't read that fast and miss almost the entire bloody sex scene because we can't stop the text from scrolling to read it properly. Not to mention that sometimes you'd want to just close your eyes and enjoy the moment... for various reasons, but since you can't stop the fkin' text... you get me?
That way of presenting the sex scene is awful awful awful AWFUL, fix it.
2. For your game text-over-image is the best (actually it's the best for nearly damn any h-game), especially in rpg-maker engine. This means that you place sexy-time image as the background for the scene and write sexy-times text on it, in a see-through frame which is maybe slightly darker than the image itself, this is so that the background light of the image does not make the text unreadable. I also suggest to bind some key to be able to hide the frame with the text so that the player can enjoy the art if he/she wishes to do so during the scene.

Currently your game is just a good enough rpg, but a total failure as smut.
The art is meh. And there isn't enough of it at all, definitely need more sexy times art in your game. Preferably higher quality too.
The text perhaps good but since i can't even read it properly because of that weird way of presenting sex text to the player...
It's as if sex was an afterthought in your game.
But since you are making smut here i suggest you pay A LOT more of your attention to sex from now on, if you want to have anyone to bother downloading your game that is, let alone liking it.
I would also add to the "about" section what kinds of kinks one can expect to see in your smut-to-be. ^^)
PS: I would also suggest allowing anonymous people to leave messages in your blog, all you do by restricting them is limiting yourself the access to feedback and bug reports. I personally only bothered because your game shows potential and it would be a shame not to tell you how you can make it what it should be - a great smut rpg.

A male? A futa? Or, perhaps remain a female?
And adjust the story accordingly, thus satisfying everyones tastes while expanding possibilities at the same time.
You are, after all, aim to make this game really big yes?

I can't wait to see the surprises that you have in store for us, considering what happens at the end of the current content (I hope that there will be a lot of kinky stuff related to that... and maybe find a way to mind control males?)
